FAQ

How do I know which service to book?

Start by visiting our New Client and Service Menu pages. We’ve designed our menu to help you choose based on your hair goals rather than expecting you to know salon terminology. If you’re considering extensions or a larger transformation and still aren’t sure where to begin, a consultation is always a great place to start.

What are Phase 1 services?

Phase 1 services are offered by our emerging stylist, Alli. Phase 1 pricing reflects where she is in her career while she continues building experience, speed, and confidence through hands-on mentorship at Gather & Grow. It’s a great option for guests looking for the Gather & Grow experience at a more accessible investment.

Will extensions damage my fine hair?

Healthy hair is always the priority. Extension placement, weight, maintenance, and your natural hair density all matter, which is why every extension plan is customized to the individual. We'll talk honestly about what your hair can safely support and create a maintenance plan designed to protect your natural hair along the way.

How often will I need to come back?

That depends on your service, hair, and maintenance goals. Color and extension guests typically return on a customized schedule rather than a one-size-fits-all timeline. Before you leave, we'll make sure you understand exactly what we recommend and when we'd like to see you again.

Where is Gather & Grow located?

Gather & Grow is a private, home-based salon in St. George, Utah. Our salon space was intentionally created to give you a relaxed, personal experience away from the hustle of a traditional salon. Full address and arrival details are provided with your appointment.

Where should I park?

The driveway is our preferred parking spot whenever space is available. If the driveway is full or inaccessible, street parking is available between our home and the home directly east of us. Some guests also choose to park in the church parking lot across the street. Come right through the front door—there's no need to knock or ring the bell. The salon is immediately to your left, and we'll be ready for you!

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that life happens and plans sometimes need to change. Because your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice when canceling or rescheduling.

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a fee of 50% of the scheduled service. Same-day cancellations and missed appointments may be charged 100% of the scheduled service.

We know unexpected circumstances happen, and those situations will always be handled with care and understanding. Our policy simply allows us to protect the time we've reserved for each guest and continue providing the thoughtful, unrushed experience Gather & Grow is known for.
